W by Worth wanted to incorporate their “When Social Meets Style” branding in a redesigned website. The high fashion clothier thrives on a direct sales relationship. Each season’s designer pieces can be purchased solely through trunk shows and luxury shopping experiences hosted by personal stylists. Social engagement is key.

The Approach

Using TwineSocial’s API to style a hub that closely matches overall branding, Worth’s social media came to life with a clean, contemporary design. Twine’s Professional Services Division also empowered Worth’s social media managers to curate content by tags — like “The Buzz” and “Your Style” — which appear on posts like segment names in a fashion magazine. This gives Worth the ability to show a single hub of aggregated content, but with categories or tags on individual items to better solidify them in users’ minds. In addition, a custom modal window allows visitors to smoothly scroll left and right through posts, while interactive icons allow visitors to easily share content through social networks or by e-mail.
